Mumbai Coastal Road Project

The Mumbai Coastal Road Project requires many approach and exit ramps to link it to the local roads network. These ramps will be executed using the precast segmental technique. The individual segments will be match-cast according to the long line procedure. The casting moulds need to meet very high standards of precision to make sure the envisaged bridge alignment can be achieved on site.
Faessler Engineering with a vast experience in the design of such structures has been entrusted with the detailed design of these moulds.
Andreas Faessler also advised on the viaduct portion connecting the Mumbai Coastal Road and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (Bow String Arches).
