Two new junction bridges will be introduced at Glilot Mizrah Interchange linking Road No 5 to Ayalon Highway No 20. GASH Bridge & Building Engineering Ltd. designed the cast in place balanced cantilever bridges BR01 (l = 640 m) and BR02 (l = 740 m). These flyovers are part of the Fast Lanes project which will add special lanes to the Ayalon Highway for public transportation, High Occupancy Vehicles and toll to alleviate traffic congestion in the Tel Aviv Metropolitan area.
Klein Engineering was commissioned to carry out a peer review on the design of BR02.
